The GT4 Pro+ features I enjoy include the large, bright display, weather, step count, heart rate, blood pressure & oxygen, notifications, and the customized dial. The always-on implementation is also impressive at times. The RDFit app connection provides reliable time, date, and weather. Besides the five onboard face options, another is downloaded from a large selection within the app. Phone notifications relayed to the watch are also chosen within the RDFit app. While they are relayed reliably, a shortcoming with notifications is that only headers and partial messages are displayed.
Wireless charging works well, but it takes more than two hours. The 230mAh battery is another shortcoming. When the display is set to always-on, the charge lasts only until dinner time. In addition, the always-on implementation does not correctly use the pointer for low power and leaves the selected face on instead. Also sensitive to static discharge, the face often goes dark unexpectedly.
The faces in the online collection have their own flair, yet I would prefer a small selection that aims to impress with a realistic appearance and memorable elegance. A redeeming feature is custom backgrounds, allowing the user an attempt at brilliance.
The GT4 Pro+ shines at health tracking. The watch displays only pertinent information. Detailed information can be viewed within the app when desired by selecting a specific value.
Like the always-on feature, other features described appear not fully implemented. Perhaps this is the reason for the budget price tag. The speaker has poor quality and leaves me reaching for my phone, as does the compass, GPS, and others.
