I love this. I didn't think it was going to work but it does. I was afraid to put it on my steering wheel because it is a magnet. so I put it on the little compartment and it's so nice and my phone is still close it's not too near my face I love it. it was easy to install just peel the little plastic off the back put it on. I didn't even need to put the metal on the back of my phone because I already have a metal ring on the back of my phone case

I cleaned my steering wheel with alcohol, let dry, then heated it and the phone holder adhesive with my heat gun to help it adhere to the textured surface of my steering wheel. my phone already has a metal disc on the back from another magnet phone holder I use in the garage, works great with this one as well. strong magnet. phone feels secure and hasn't fallen off even during road bumps.
