Be careful there are very rudimentary instructions that does not help you much to determine installation length of the connectors - you have to kind of try it yourself to figure it out. Luckily, I am doing this on a bathroom reno - wall is knocked down so I can measure everything. The adjustable adapter (nipple) from 1/2 inch (piping end) to 3/4 (shower end) are threaded in BSPP (British/European) not US American (NPT) standard - so the angle of the thread is not same and even though it will look like it is going to fit - it will not. You will need adapter from 1/2 inch NPT to 3/4 BSPP to make it work. I was hoping this product would include some adapters as they sell internationally but to bad I did not check for that. Another issue is the inner connector from 3/4 to the base 1/2 inch is counter clock threaded so when you are tightening the shower you can easily make the 1/2 connector loose unscrewed.
This product needs much better instructions for piping/fitting and if they include US standards threads/adapters it would be 5 star rating otherwise I have to give it 3 for now.
